Life is suffering, but once you accept that, you make room to see its beauty.

Reality is created by the mind. We can change our reality by changing our mind. -Plato

It all started when…

I realized, from personal experience, the power of the mind. For a long time I looked at the mind and the person as one, until I realized the mind is its own thing, that does not listen to us or do what we want it to. Your mind could be your worst enemy, and that is why you have to train it. Your mind is a muscle, and like a muscle it has muscle memory created through repetition. Your pattern of thinking gets stronger with time and harder to break, so, for example, if you have developed obsessive, negative, or judgmental thinking patterns, those are the thoughts your brain will continue to produce automatically, and your mind will perceive them as normal. In order to change that, you have to let go of those patterns and replace them with new ones.
